Here is the Obituary for Riley Ann (Way) Simpson
. She was my dear friend all through high school and for many years
afterward. She died near Austin, Texas. Thanks for your
work for the Millikan alumni.
In Loving Memory
Riley Ann Simpson, adored and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister,
and friend passed away December 1st, 2009 at the age of 70. Riley had a pure
and beautiful soul that touched and brought joy to all who surrounded her.
She cherished and confided love in all things that she did. Whether it was
volunteering at St. Thomas More, caring for her grandchildren, gardening, or
teaching fourth grade students, Riley saw the beauty in all things in this
world. She recognized her calling to show kindness and compassion to all
beings in this world. Although Riley will be greatly missed, her beautiful soul
will be the light that brightens the world and those it touched forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents Uleta and Harold Way and Roy Nix Sr.
She is survived by her husband Cecil Simpson, three sons, Robert Stites of
Arlington, Ricky Stites of Corpus Christi and Mark Campbell of Lakeside, CA.
Also survived are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Uleta and Mitchell
McKinney of Wimberley TX & Jodie and David Evans of Austin.
