Jerry Pankey, class of 64
Date: 10/17/01

Email From:
To all out there that may have known my brother Jerry Pankey, class of 64.
Jerry was killed in a tragic accident on Oct. 4th in his town of Twaine
Harte, CA on his way to work. He had a massive heart attack and hit a big
tree (he lived in the big pines) and was killed instantly. He was on his way
to work in Sonora (gold country). He was known as " The Chief" because of
his "Old Chief Jerkey" that he sold in Twoluome County and because of our
Indian heritage (obviously I bleach my hair!) . He was my best friend and I
will miss him very much! He was divorced but had many lady and male
friends who loved his gentle nature and good humour. He lived alone in the
Big Pines and had his wolf who visited him nightly. He has two sons - Dale
25 and Todd 22 who live in Twaine Harte. If your knew my brother, you know
he is now Soaring with the Eagles in Heaven! We have all lost loved ones
and you know how much will miss him!

I believe Mike McConahay, class of '64, died in Vietnam, as his name is on the California Veterans Wall in the Capitol Park in Sacramento, right behind the State Capitol.  He is the only name on that wall that I had known at Millikan
